If the weather is favourable, it is well worth making the effort to visit this 1930s art deco residence, which also has attractive moated gardens and the remains of a Tudor royal palace. Art-Deco Interior (has been used in one or two movies!) , a medieval Hall and interesting gardens - well worth a visit.

Eltham Palace is an English Heritage historic palace with a pretty garden. It was actually brought by an extremely wealthy couple after it was used by the royal family which means you can see the old historic palace and the families wealthy mansion as well
