While the Roleystone Theatre is closed for upgrades, the company performs at the Armadale Memorial Hall, Jull st Armadale. Roleystone Theatre is one of the best amateur theatres south of the river. It showcases around 5 shows a year by both professional playwrights and local amateur writers. Their shows range from holiday pantomimes to drama, and much like other theatres of its kind, can be a bit hit-or-miss: some are to the standard of professional productions, while others just aren't.
