On a nice day, at any time of year, the Botanics are a great place to visit. As well as wandering around these beautiful gardens, there are amazing glasshouses, a cafe and a shop, as well as being able to catch glimpses of the city and castle. Check out their website - they commonly have things…
One of the best gardens in the UK and worth a visit even if you aren't a gardener as it is a lovely place for a picnic or to read a book. Free entry. Not open late in the evening unless for a special event.
These gardens are free to walk around. The only paid part are the glass houses. Lovely to wander especially on a sunny day.
