Inventor of the spicy tuna over crispy rice, this place is one of the pioneers of LA (and therefore USA) sushi. Busy every night. Reserve a table.

One of the best Japanese in the area. Although its hard getting a table here, take out is done easily on their website.

A 5 minutes walk to one of the best Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles. The restaurant is small and often packed so it does not take reservation but you can call in advance for a seating time and just make sure to show up on time. Or order take out and they will pack your dishes in separate…
