Tips from locals
"A long-time favorite of hip locals and out-of-towners alike, Lindey’s Restaurant & Bar is a German Village staple, marrying chic urban style with a relaxed come-as-you-are attitude. You’ll instantly feel at home."
Amazing food! Good for brunch or dinner. Great patio when the weather is nice.
A true four-star dining experience for lunch or dinner. Reservations are a must, valet parking available. This is a wonderful special event restaurant ( and it is expensive - but worth it!)
Fancier Place in German village. Impeccable service, great food and beautiful garden patio in the summer months.

“The laid-back German Village is known for charming brick houses built by 19th-century immigrants along Beck, Mohawk, and Deshler streets. Shops selling books, traditional fudge, and handmade jewelry mingle with art galleries, German pubs, American bistros, and artisan coffee shops. In summer, the Actors’ Theatre Columbus stages outdoor Shakespeare and other plays in Schiller Park with its fountains and flower beds.”
