The Victorian arcades in Cardiff city centre contain an amazing selection of independent shops and cafés. Whilst the more modern shopping centre, St David's, contains all of the major national chains, the arcades offer something special and unique. You could start with Castle Arcade, just opposite the castle, before working your way through the other arcades that are nearby.
