The Bivouac cafe is the place for visiting walkers, families and friends. Serving hot drinks, homemade soups, snacks and simple dishes made from local produce you can drop by for a coffee, cake, a light lunch, or enjoy a delicious meal in this perfect setting. Family pets are welcome too.
Swinton Bivouac has lots to offer - cycle tracks for all abilities. Walking trails and beautiful views overlooking Leighton Reservoir. The cafe serves lovely food and drinks. The Druids Temple is worth exploring - a really interesting place!
Wrap up warm as you're high up here, but out of the wind in the trees. You can stay here in one of their huts or teepees, but there's also a lovely short walk to do in the trees and the 'Druid's Temple' - a great Victorian folly to climb on and play hide and seek in. Super cafe with warming food.
Bivouac is the home of the druids temple, a place where children can run, explore and climb in the woods followed by a trip to the cafe, where the children can play in the park or the toy area downstairs. There are owls to see outside. The cafe is situated in a beautiful spot overlooking the green fields of the surrounding area, think fairy lights and an indoor giant tree. Its a beautiful place to spend time together as a family.
