This bus will take you to either the ferry terminal, where you can transfer to the ferry and arrive right downtown Halifax, or the Dartmtouh Terminal, where you can catch a bus to most parts of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), including the airport. Fares is $2.50 for adults.$1.75 for seniors and children. You will need correct change. You can not buy a ticket from the bus or ferry driver, although there are change machines at the bus terminals and ferry. Get a transfer when you take the bus. You may want a fresh one when transfer to the ferry. Check with the ticket person- I think you have up to two hours to get back to take a return ferry, but it may be 90 minutes.
