The Belgrade Zoological Garden works all 365 days of the year. The ticket office is open from 08:00-20:00 . The tickets are sold until half an hour before the beginning of dusk. The ticket prices: adults (over 15 years of age) 500 dinars per person; children (from 3 to 15 years of age) 300 dinars per person; students' excursions (over 15 persons) 250 dinars per person.

The Belgrade Good Hope garden (Serbian: Београдски врт добре наде, translit. Beogradski vrt dobre nade) is a zoo located in Belgrade, Serbia. The zoo is situated at the very centre of the city, in Kalemegdan Park. Beo zoo vrt was founded in 1936 and is one of the oldest zoos in Europe.[1] The zoo covers an area of about 7 hectares (17 acres),[2] and has about 1,700 animals representing amore than 150 different species. It holds domestic as well as exotic wild animals. 50 employees currently work in the zoo.

At the Belgrade Zoo, there are currently 190 animal species and about 1,800 individuals. Of this, the most species are birds, fewer mammals, then reptiles, several types of pancreas and piranha flocks
