best and most authentic sushi on the island. Toshia who owns the restaurant is from Japan and before opening even trained the local fisherman he uses to fish in the Japanese way in order to get the freshest ingredients on the plate!

This is the best and only authentic Japanese restaurant in Belize. Owner and master sushi chef Toshiya opened this restaurant in early 2017 and has received phenomenal reviews. “One of the only "high-end" grocery stores in San Pedro. This place is pricey and smaller, but has higher quality stuff than Super Buy. Has a selection of health foods, spices, and hard to find fresh produce. Warning: any North American chips, crackers, sweets, cookies, or cereals will be exorbitantly priced anywhere in Belize. Seriously, like $15USD for a little box of Wheaties. Bring from home if you need to eat prepackaged snacks or cereals! ”
