Great cafe nestled in the City Gallery. Perfect for breakfast or brunch while exploring along the waterfront. The sage fried eggs are one of the best breakfasts in Wellington. The lunch specials change weekly, but the pasta is always delicious.

Located in City Gallery Wellington, Nikau has maintained its stellar reputation since opening nearly twenty years ago. The interior is designed by Mary Daish and she sets the scene for a very good food experience! Their kedgeree dish is famous around here -- a must have!

Set in behind the Wellington Art gallery, Nikau does all sorts of delicious food...their kedgeree is simply the best!
