Trail head is located on the North side of the bridge just past McKinley Village. Park on the left side of the road and head towards the bridge. Trailhead marker is there. This one is for avid hikers. It’s 9.5 miles. Begin in McKinley Village and end in Denali National Park. There is a shuttle that can take you back so you don’t have to hike back. Or do the round trip for a 19 mile hike. Some incline but not much.

At 9.4 miles, the Triple Lakes Trail is Denali's longest. Hike the whole thing or do an out-and-back section of your choosing. (Note: this trail is not a loop, thus you'll have to stage a vehicle at the North or South end to hike it in its entirety!) This trail affords visitors a great chance to stretch their legs while in Denali. While this trail doesn't gain a significant amount of elevation, because of its length, we consider this to be a moderately-strenuous hike.

Triple Lakes Trailhead (the south end) is very close to Denali Hideaway!! It's the longest trail in Denali National Park at 9 miles one way. The north end starts at the Denali Visitor Center. You might see beaver in one of the lakes!

Great hiking trail near Tonglen Lake Lodge. This is the longest trail in Denali. The northern trail head is close to the Denali Visitor Center, while the southern trail head is alongside Highway 3. From the south start at the parking lot on the west side of Highway 3, just north of the Nenana Bridge (called "Crabbe's Crossing" locally), approximately Mile 231 on Highway 3.

One entrance to this trail is only 7 miles away. The other end is at the Visitor Center in the park. Due to road construction in summer 2022, the southern trail head parking is down at McKinley Village. Follow the signs on the highway at MP 231. It has some moderately steep sections, but is a very well maintained trail that travels through boreal forest, past several lakes, and has beautiful views.
