This relaxing half day tour lets you get out and snorkel with the manatees. But be prepared, you probably need to make reservations in advance. AND winter is better than summer to view the manatees in the river.

You can do boating tours or swim with the manatees. You can also take a tour boat to go scalloping in season in this area.

Just a short 30 minute drive to Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, there are many tours to see and be along side these beautiful gentle marine mammals. This is truly an unforgettable experience. While Crystal River has resident manatees throughout the year, the best months to swim with them are between November and April.

This will be a magical experience to see! Stop in at "The Freezer" in Homosassa for the best peel and eat shrimp or at Becky Jacks in Weeki Wachee for awesome eats made from scratch.
