Step back in time to explore and learn all about Middleport Pottery, The Great Pottery Throwdown was filmed here. Walk around the original Victorian offices, and learn about the people and events which have shaped Burleigh pottery. Also on site is a huge grade II listed bottle kiln - one of only 46 remaining in the city. Cafe serves local specialties such as oatcakes and afternoon cream teas, all served on beautiful Burleigh pottery whilst viewing the Trent and Mersey canal. Another fabulous pottery factory to see. Using a grant from the Princes Regeneration trust the factory is now a museum as well as still producing the fabulous Burleigh ware.
