Red Fork Falls Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Unicoi, Tennessee that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Warning: This hike is slippery once you get closer to the falls so it is not recommended for dogs unless they are well trained and adept at hiking. It is also not recommended for small children. The top of the fall is a fall hazard. Be careful and stay clear!

Maybe our favorite hike. It’s rated moderate and only a mile straight down a waterfall. There’s many swim opportunities and very limited parking-meaning it’s not very crowed.
