Cerro Verde has a lot of traditional food sold around the park as well as a Cafe with a beautiful view. This is the location where Izalco and Santa Ana Hikes Tours Begin.

Check hours of operation before entering the park (they tend to close around 8pm). The park offers moderate to difficult hikes to the top of the mountain or you can explore the entrance which has natural exhibitions, scenic views of the Izalco volcano, restaurants, food stands, and artisan souvenir shops. Visit Los Volcanes Bistro Cafe or Casa 1800 for a quick bite or hot drinks with dessert. The view from this cafe is jaw-dropping.

The scenery is absolutely gorgeous! They offer hikes that are guided for all strengths and abilities. There are beginner hikes that go around the base as well as intermediate and advanced hikes that go all the way to the top and back.
