Tips from locals
Scenic and very beautiful. Also, it's very cultural and holds a huge heritage of what Tunisia is.
Such a lovely village right outside our doors, discover spectacular views, the charm of white washed houses and their iconic blue doors.
Sidi Bou Said is a short walk away from La Marsa. The town itself is a tourist attraction and is known for its extensive use of blue and white. Do not miss it!
To go there Tram number 3 (be sure to ask ticket for Sidi Bou Said -tram & train) then switch to Train at TGM to Sidi Bou Said Very beautiful place but very expensive comparing to the rest of Tunis. Restaurants/ coffees are not that good comparing to the high prices. Enjoy the view ^^

“There is a Carrefour in the mall which as all essential items for normal prices. The food court on the top floor also has some of the best fastfood in Tunisia, including a Lebanese place, and Tunisian place, and French Bakery, all of which are great, despite being in a mall. In the US for example you'd rarely find a good place in a food court, but in Tunisia, the social and business climate is such that your intuitions don't always work.”
