Tunnels are common along this levada walk, but the landscape in between is of the magnificent São Vicente valley. This trail begins at Ginjas in the municipality of São Vicente and follows the walkway beside the Fajã do Rodrigues levada or the Fajã da Ama Levada, the two names by which it is known, ending at the source of the levada in Ribeira do Inferno. This levada lies at an elevation of 580 metres and has its source in the bed of the Ribeira do Inferno stream, which separates the lands of Seixal from those of São Vicente and winds across ridges and through small valleys up to Rosário, to be used for the irrigation of the farm fields of São Vicente. Este percurso também conhecido como a Levada Fajã da Ama. Este percurso, é feito a 600 metros de altitude, o caminhante pode admirar a indescritível beleza da flora endémica e exótica da ilha da Madeira. A fauna endémica também se faz notar sobretudo através do cantar melodioso dos tentilhões e dos pequenos BisBis. Encontramos 4 Tuneis ida e volta dá 8. 3 Tuneis para lado da madre (Ribeira do Inferno ) 1 Tunel para lado contrario (Ribeira da Vargem).
