Tips from locals
Great, fresh seafood. They also have a sushi bar. It can get crowded, so be prepared to wait on a weekend night.
A great seafood shack! Turk´s Seafood Market in Mattapoisett is located about 3.5 miles down Rte. 6, turksseafood.com. It is outdoor service only right now but they are also doing take-out.
A local favorite. Outstanding sushi and seafood. Make sure to go at a low-time, 3pm-6pm or 9pm-close.

“Uncle Jon's has always been the go-to place for coffee, muffins, quiche, whatever. Over the years, if we checked in to the cottage late at night and didn't have time to hit the grocery store, one of us would make the short trip to Uncle Jon's the next morning and bring back breakfast for everyone. Definitely order the cranberry muffins if they have them. We also grab a quick breakfast on our way back to the airport after our vacation is over. ”
