This is probably the most favorite pub/hangout for locals. Their huge menu covers every cuisine.

Walking distance, or a 2 minute drive. Busy bar scene with great food. Sit outside in the summer and watch the sunset over the Weweantic River.

“A really close-by option for a nice meal is Brew Fish Bar and Eatery,, a gastro pub just a mile down Spring Street. They also have a decent selection of craft beers, and they offer indoor seating. ”

“Uncle Jon's has always been the go-to place for coffee, muffins, quiche, whatever. Over the years, if we checked in to the cottage late at night and didn't have time to hit the grocery store, one of us would make the short trip to Uncle Jon's the next morning and bring back breakfast for everyone. Definitely order the cranberry muffins if they have them. We also grab a quick breakfast on our way back to the airport after our vacation is over. ”

“This large grocery store will have everything you need. It's not the cheapest in the area but it's consistently good. The seafood is fresh - never had a problem buying fish here.”
