3,573 ft mountain located in the Southeast corner of Greene County, NY. The mountain, named for the appearance of its profile, is part of the Devil's Path range of the Catskill Mountains.

Challenging and steep hike with beautiful views along the way, but not at the top. 6.16 miles round trip from DEC parking lot from Prediger Road. part of Devil's path and rated difficult because of cliffs one must climb. For experienced hikers

This is a bigger hike but well worth it. Download AllTrails app and let it guide you up.

Indian Head is part of the Catskill Mountain 3500+ hike. Double black diamond with intense vertical and climbing, this hike is not for the faint at heart!

My favorite day hike in the area, though it is a longer, strenuous hike. Plan on a full day for hiking.
