There are some lovely beaches on Hayling Island - most are pebbly but at low tide, West Beach is sandy. As well as the main beach there is a lovely coastal walk through a nature reserve. Windsurfing is a popular sport on the island too.
This is a fabulous local hangout where you can get amazing cakes, tea, coffee and bacon rolls. Definitely worth a stop when walking along the beach.
