Wonderful beach - particularly for dog walking at low tide. There is a mobile tea van in the car park at Carne Beach.

Again one of the quieter beaches on the Roseland via the King Harry Ferry. The Shalikabooky beach hut cafe has a good reputation.

Pendower beach is truly spectacular with the river running down the beach. You have magnificent rockpools, pebbles and sand. It's stunning and dog friendly.

Pendower beach is less that 10 minutes drive from the hut. Go back on the main road past the Portscatho turning. Before you get to Ruan High Lanes there is a turning on the right for the beach. There is free parking. The beach is quite large and is popular with us locals for walking on a Sunday morning. You can find all sorts in the rock pools including star fish and hermit crabs.

A beautiful sandy beach that links up with Carne beach at low tide to give almost a mile of glorious sandy space. We love having a barbeque on the beach in the evenings!
