Great local swimming spot...bring your own towels, food and be sure to clean up after yourself......floats, small rafts or tubes are a must....don't miss this FREE attraction!

The Slab is a favorite of the locals. It is really the Llano River where the water flows over the granite rocks and creates small rapids. There are sandy areas as well. Great place to catch minnows. Take an ice chest .

Best place to take a cooler of beer and a picnic to swim when the water is flowing. It's an hour drive, but so worth it!
