Chelsea-On-Sea, as it's known locally! Which is a bit unfair because Aldeburgh is still beautifully quiet, although it has its own rather lovely cinema, beach and quirky independent shops too. Don't miss the famous fish and chip shops (local tip - they're both the same company!)

Eat your fish and chips on the beach and go for a swim! Or people watch as families bring their model boats to sail on the pond and the Lifeboat goes out on a practice mission.
