Beautiful drive to get to the Glenora Ferry. It’s free and takes you right to the County (Prince Edward County)!

Ever looked at a map and wondered why the Loyalist Parkway (#33) ends at the water? That's because you have to drive your car onto a ferry to get to the other side. It's fun and it's free! Great views from both sides.

Ferrying between Prince Edward County’s Glenora and Adolphustown on the mainland, this is a free and picturesque 15-minute ride. Glenora is home to the Glenora Fisheries Station (Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Lake Ontario Management Unit), a research facility located on the Bay of Quinte near the ferry docks which maintains a Bay of Quinte Fisheries Management Plan and fishery management plans for Lake Ontario. There are a variety of pick your own farms (apple, hascap, saskatoon berries, flowers), corn maze, pumpkin patch wineries, historic churches and goats on roofs! on the other side of the ferry a quick drive east on your way to nearby Bath.
