Adams Park is not only a historic landmark, but it's a lovely little park with a delightful water fountain and plenty of park benches. Nestled between the local public library and downtown Wheaton, it's ideally located.

A lovely town-square park, Adams Park is the remains of the John Quincy Adams house, deeded to the town by a single family member and local librarian. Adams Park has beautiful trees, benches, flowers, and a fountain in the center of the park, the last remaining part of the original house. Next to the library in Wheaton, and in walking distance to Shane's Deli or Thai, Vietnamese, or Mexican restaurants. A perfect place for a picnic, or just a place to sit and enjoy the first snowdrops and redbud blooms.
