Our favourite beach. A half hour drive away, Avon Beach is large with plenty to do, yet relatively quiet with lots of parking. The Noisy Lobster is there perfect restaurant to enjoy seafood with lovely views.

Beautiful, long, sandy beach, great for swimming, surfing, paddle-boarding etc. Lots of local parking and the bus travels from the main road near the entrance to Shorefield Country Park.

Avon Beach is a beautiful sandy stretch of beach that boasts a great shop, restaurant and coffee hut. Really safe for swimming as it is lifeguarded. When the tide goes out it also has a wide sandbar that you can walk out too.

Just along from Mudeford Quay, head along to Avon Beach. Very much a locals beach, with all the facilities required for a great day. Also here is the Noisy Lobster restaurant which is highly recommended.

If you want a traditional english beach, with kiosks, beach huts and sand this is the closest beach for that. It is often very crowded in height of summer. But you can eat at the Noisy Lobster, you can walk along to Mudeford Quay easily where you can do some crabbing. Calm waters and easier to walk into the water with the sandy beach.
