We have been fiercely independent, family owned winemakers since 1849, showcasing the best of the Barossa. For six generations we have embraced the magnificent unknown, letting the land lead the way, and growing our vines with as little interference as possible.

Set above the Barossa at Angaston, Yalumba is the only major winery still under family ownership, and a personal favourite. As you pull up in the lovely manicured grounds, there’s little sense of the grandeur around the corner – the blue-marble winery with its turreted clocktower

Situated just outside Angaston, is this historic Barossa winery. ln addition to the traditional tasting, it offers one the opportunity to observe bespoke barrels being manufactured. lt is extremely interesting to observe the bespoke barrel manufacturer by the working cooperage.

Australia’s most historic family owned winery. Love its wine and beautiful garden.
