Tips from locals
Being member of the congregation I highly recommend to visit this relatively new cathedral built by donations from all over the then Russian Empire. Their book shop has vast selection of icons, books and candles to take as souvenirs. NB! Please do not pass the gated area as people are there constantly praying God and services are held or to be held soon :)
The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an orthodox cathedral in the Tallinn Old Town, Estonia. It was built to a design by Mikhail Preobrazhensky in a typical Russian Revival style between 1894 and 1900
Russian Orthodox Church, just next to the Parliament. Built in 1901, so not nearly as old as the buildings surrounding it but a serene and interesting place.
