The Ahwahnee Hills Regional Park is a 400-acre nature park in the community of Ahwahnee on Highway 49 in Madera County. It boasts of 400 acres of oak woodland, a 15-acre lake, 7 miles of walking/hiking trails, 6 miles of equestrian trail, picnic areas, and restrooms.

highly recommend this for spring and summer time. This is a 400 acre nature park with walking trails, lakes and creeks to explore. If you are there during the right part of summer you may even get to enjoy wild blackberries. Access is free.
