For a natural escape, take a 45min ride on a local colectivo bus from the market to the maya village of Roberto Barrios. Two accesses, before the bridge or 5min walk from the curve at the end of the village. Beautiful turquoise cascades, increasingly touristic, but still quiet on weekdays. Small entrance fee applies. When relying on colectivo, get back before 5pm.

Es recomendable llevar chaleco salvavidas ya que alguna de las cascadas son muy profundas, también puedes llevar alimentos y bebidas para disfrutar de un día completo.

un hermoso lugar natural para nadar y relajarse se encuentra a 1 hora en auto de la palenque,si traes tu auto te informamos como llegar si gustas de las excursiones tenemos salidas todos los días a las 12 pm
