Yet another Portugese Chicken restaurant in the area. Slightly more upscale, dine-in, with better quality. Negligible price-increase, a better dining experience.

Chez Doval is a bit of an institution on the Plateau. It is a lively authentic Portuguese restaurant with everything from Portuguese chicken, to amazing steak, calamaris and perhaps the best grilled octopus in the city. It's not per say a hip place but the food is delicious and the prices are fair. It's a good place for groups and/or a family.

Bustling fixture specializing in Portuguese-style charbroiled meats & fish served with house wine. Don't be fooled by the 80's decor, the place is authentic and the food excellent.

This is my favorite restaurant in Montreal. Grilled portuguese chicken is their specialty, and it is amazing (and a tad greasy). A jovial place, go ahead and get the full liter of wine.
