Great "greasy spoon" with lots of character. Toys for kids to play with. The drive from Halfmoon Bay and Garden Bay in general are beautiful. After your meal, order an ice cream or milkshake and go for a stroll in the small town.

Awesome place for breakfast, burgers, and fish and chips. Laverne's Grill offers a quaint and cozy atmosphere overlooking Hospital Bay. Perfect place for an afternoon ice cream or delicious old time milkshake.

Trail
“300 steps from your suite: walk down the driveway, turn left and walk down Godkin, continue onto the cult-de-sac (Orca Road). You’ll see a sign for Daniel Point Park. There is a fairly steep trail with stone steps. Step down with care and you will be rewarded with a 3.6-acre peninsula park: walk to the very end of it and right down to the sea. If it’s windy on one side, try the other; there are many seaside places to hang out here. This is probably one of the quietest and most beautiful parks on the Coast. There are no facilities available. Lowtide offers tide pools on the rocks to explore and pink starfish; seals frequently hang out just offshore and eagles frequently fly overhead.”

Off-Licence
“Madeira Park. Full wine, beer and spirits. Larger store 15 minutes away. A smaller one closer at John Henry’s. If you’re drinking, don’t drive to Madeira Park - the roads are very windy. You can walk to John Henry’s. ”
