A fun way to spend some time out of the cold in Sylvan Lake? Check out your biceps, get competitive and throw an ax at The Wood Shed. Their indoor axe throwing events are hosted by professionally trained coaches that teach you how to throw an axe, conduct tournaments for your group while also playing fun games. This is a great place for a date, day out with the family (with older kids) or groups like birthday parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties. It's surprisingly satisfying once you get it to stick, plus it's the best place to yell 'timber' and wear plaid.
