The beach is long and so you get to have your own space. Perfect for long walks, snorkeling. Waves can be slightly unpredictable. Has rocks on the side and hence some tide pools.

This is the most popular spot to walk along the beach and snorkel and relax on the beach or on the grass. When you snorkel, you stay to the right end near the hotel, which is where the reef is. There are almost always turtles. If the current starts to come up, it will pull you north. So be mindful of how far north you go. There is a lot to see!

If you're looking for a quieter beach for your family, Keawakapu Beach would be the choice. Located between Kihei and Wailea, Keawakapu Beach offers multiple, large parking lots and there're few resorts fronting this beach, which makes this beach feel like a welcome refuge.
