A tofu restaurant at the foot of the Tokyo Tower, with a large, Japanese-style garden that will make you forget that you’re in the middle of the city when you sit down for tea and a meal. The restaurant is known for the beautiful lacquerware on display, and its garden lake features carp swimming gracefully and a water wheel spinning gently. This restaurant is very popular and you should be sure to make a reservation accordingly. But even if it’s full up, you can buy tofu from the shop inside the restaurant—it’s worth a visit just for the beautiful front garden that greets you on the way in.
