Killer sushi - mid range prices. Low key, valet park, on sushi row on Ventura Blvd. You'll catch a celeb here and there too.

ASANEBO | This might just take the cake for the least spectacular strip mall exterior: Funny, because it belies the cozy décor and Michelin-starred sushi and small plates inside. It's possible to walk-in (and wait) on a week-night, but reservations are essential on weekends.

Over the years, “Asanebo” was recognized as one of the top Japanese restaurants from Zagat, LA Times, LA Weekly, and more.
