Love the art galleries along Main Street; the Farnsworth Museum’s Wyeth collection. Ada’s Restaurant is the best choice for dining. There is outdoor seating. At Miranda’s (alley?) Find open air seating, cocktails, ice cream nearby, live music, and street pizza. Stay away from Miranda’s extended…

Another harbor where you can catch Windjammers. Camden is the other. Camden is easier to actually see the boats, but many sail out of Rockland also. Lots of shopping. One of the towns to get Ferries to other islands.

Stroll the local downtown and enjoy the art galleries, coffee chops, two museums, theatre and many fine restaurants.

Great food, two great art museums (The Farnsworth and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art), plus lots of galleries. Great town to walk around in.
