About this place
Meaning sin in French, Péché is Austin's first absinthe bar. The beverage program, headed by bar manager Shaun Meglen, showcases a selection of pre-Prohibition style cocktails and a curated wine list. Executive chef John Lichtenberger brings that same tailored focus to the food menu, serving rich French fare like braised short ribs and duck confit.
Tips from locals
Happy hour menu is amazing. Most items are 50%. Be sure to get their burger and ask for their house ketchup. It’s delicious. Their drinks are also top notch.

GREAT HAPPY HOUR! The absinthe bar's happy hour run from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday, and all evening on Sunday and Monday with $5 drinks and half-off dishes.
Péché is always a good time. Go try one of their craft cocktails; you won't be disappointed. Great addition to a night downtown.
