Cant compare to giant aquarium but if you happen to be in Crikvenica it's well worth a visit. They have lots of different fish from Adriatic sea and elsewhere (from seahorses to sharks).

The Crikvenica Aquarium is situated in Crikvenica and takes up an area od about 200 m2. Visit on of 30 pools which imitate the natural habit of more than 100 Adriatic fish species and 50 tropical species.
