Great river front park with carousel for kids. We love exploring the different areas of this park. There is a water fountain place for warmer weather (plan accordingly with kids who might want to play in water)

At Chattanooga's Northshore waterfront, Coolidge Park features a restored 100-year-old carousel, a pavilion, an interactive play fountain, the Outdoor Chattanooga Center and lots of open space. It is a popular destination for concerts, festivals, splashing in fountains, and running free!

This is a great area to start for a walk across the Walnut Street bridge into the heart of downtown.

Coolidge Park is a great place for rest and relaxation. Have a picnic or throw a frisbee on the grounds, check the web for outdoor concerts, and sit on the benches with a stellar view of the Tennessee River and the Walnut Street Bridge (locally called the Walking Bridge). This park is located right behind the main drag of North Shore, which has great local restaurants and several ice cream places.
