Saxon Pub is an old music town Austin musicians dive bar. Ya just never know who might get up on the stage. If you want the old Austin music scene, here's a place that will fill your heart.
A local favorite. Saxon Pub is a very low-key, high quality music venue. It tends to favor a bit of the older, South Austin crowd, and is home to a huge variety bands.
Long time local favorite, get there early for a table, great local acts, Typically 2 to 3 shows per night
One of the best live music listening rooms in town. It's not huge and of you come on a popular night, be prepared to stand back by the bar. Check out Bob Schneider's Lonelyland on Mondays.
