Park Rapids for shopping; Minnisoda for ice cream in Park Rapids; Third Street Market for soup and dessert, and coffee house in Park Rapids; The Good Place restaurant on Main Street in Park Rapids Chase Hotel/Restaurant in Walker, 30 miles east one Highway 34--on Leach Lake--great views Dorset House in Dorset, 7 miles east on Highway 34, for ice cream, etc.
