You may not appreciate the setting, an older jiffy store converted to the favorite local’s hangout, however, John makes great meals. Pizza night is Wednesdays (great homemade style pizza!) and Friday is the weekly special (call to find out). Serves a great breakfast! We choose his bbq pork rather than bacon/sausage. Our favorite! Not open on Monday and Tuesday’s.

Where the Ozello folks go for down home cooking and gossip. Tiki bar inside and the sell local Southern Grit beer and Chiefland, FL wines. Any Shrimp meal and their philly sandwiches are great. Checkout their Friday night specials too.

Dollar drafts all the time and delicious food! They also sell boat fuel, conveniently located just down the street!

This is a local’s hangout. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, they open at 6 AM other days. Great food, a tiki bar, even a local lending library, with friendly people and a great beer selection. They also sell bait, beer to go, local hot sauce and more! If you want to meet some local people, this is the place to go!
