One of our favourite restaurants in Portimao, we really enjoy the grilled fish and other typical Portuguese dishes. The decoration inside is that of a traditional "taberna", while the terrace outside is very enjoyable on a balmy summer evening.

Typical Portuguese food, done the right way. Choose between a table outside on the terrace, or inside the traditionally decorated Taberna. One of my favourites since the day I arrived in Portimao.

The freshest fish and seafood coming from the sea are cooked on the grill or pan with the mastery of those knowing the product as the palm of their hands.

We would like to recomend Taberna da Maré as a tipycal place with portuguese food. A place where we feel at home because Zeca his owner is a very special algarvian man, who continues the good portuguese tradicions and flavours.
