Casa Batlló is a building in the center of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí, and is considered one of his masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that.

Best Gaudí’s house design. He was asked to reform the previous building and the result was this colorist and personal architectural 100% Gaudí style. Curved lines, organic forms like bones or plants and artificial forms like masks. The roof seems a scaly back of a dragon.

It is one of the buildings that are famous in Barcelona with its funny exterior. A tip is to go up a street and take a left and enter the big hardware store. On the first floor there is a small terrace and from there you can see the back of the building for free.
