Bridal Veil Falls is one of the most photographed waterfalls in the White Mountains. 4.8 miles round trip. Elevation gain 1,079 feet. 1-2 hours.
Bridal Veil Falls is a lovely (and easy) half-day hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end of the Coppermine Trail; the trailhead for these falls is on Coppermind Road, which is off NH 116 just south of the Franconia Inn; a shelter for overnight backpacking is available 0.2 mile east of the falls
Beautiful waterfall, a few mile hike each way, but gets busy on the weekends.
A great moderate 4 mile hike (round trip) to impressive falls with many swimming holes along the way. Join the trail by walking down Parkview Drive, taking a left on Beechwood, following the road to its end at a cul-de-sac and entering a small trail that joins the main Bridal Veil Falls trail after about 50 yards. See the "Betty Davis" plaque by walking down to the brook when you see a wide ski trail lead up a slope on the left. Google "Betty Davis" and "Franconia" to find out the fascinating back story...
