In downtown Hartford and by the capital building, you will find Bushnell park. There is a wonderful refurbished merry go round. Near by is the Bushnell center of performing arts. Many shows from Broadway come as well as concerts.

They have a carousel for kids. Great family outing spot. Nice to walk around and have a picnic

Want to go for a walk? Breathe in some nice crisp fresh air? Take a walk in Bushnell Park if the weather permits and if you happen to be around in the winter months, stop by and pick up some ice skates (free of charge) and enjoy the ice skating rink!
