Pry yourself from the ice cream stores and have a real dessert that is not your mom's layer cake or slice of pie. Papa Haydens is the real deal with something for everyone. Enough to share but it's OK to eat that whole portion yourself. Whether you are into chocololate or fruity flavors or semifreddo, if you are in Portland more than a day or two, I'd make time for a visit to this institution of sugary treats. Oh, they do have delicious food as well.
